I am a fiction writer originally from Chicago.  I began writing as a child and cannot remember a time before I wanted to write books.

My first opportunity to have stories published was in the Plainfield High School literary magazine, The Green and White Review.  After high school, I began submitting stories to literary magazines.  I continue to write new stories and submit them to contests and magazines.

I wrote my first novel in 2002 and my second in 2003.  In 2004, I took part in National Novel Writing Month for the first time, drafting a third novel.  I completed my fourth novel in 2006 and am currently rewriting and preparing it for submission to publishers.
